NameTag

Electronic name tag designed to use e-ink display technology.
By using the button interface, several menus can be navigated to: see the time of day, read song lyrics, and see saved pictures.

It is powered by an internal battery that can be recharged via a USB-C connection.

The electronics are designed in Eagle, as a 2-layer PCB, with only SMD components mounted on the top side. This allows the display to fold around the edge and lay flat on the backside.

The electronics are housed in an enclosure made from oak and brass milled on a CNC cutter.
