NameTag
Electronic name tag designed to use e-ink display technology.
By using the button interface, several menus can be navigated to: see the time of day, read song lyrics, and see saved pictures.
It is powered by an internal battery that can be recharged via a USB-C connection.
The electronics are designed in Eagle, as a 2-layer PCB, with only SMD components mounted on the top side. This allows the display to fold around the edge and lay flat on the backside.
The PCB a soldered in an oven, using a stencil to apply solder paste.
The electronics are housed in an enclosure made from oak and brass milled on a CNC cutter.
