HTX - Mechatronics

As the final exam in the mechatronics course at HXT, my colleague Phillip and I designed and constructed a hoof pruning box for breeding sows.

Phillip was in charge of the mechanics and I handled the electronics and programming.
It uses a suit of sensors and actuators, mixing 5V, 12V and 230V electronics.
It features pneumatic powered doors, equipped with sensors to detect the sow. The hole cage is lifted using a powerful motor in the top of the boom.
